Destiny 2: The Missing Manual

Content Checklist

Last updated: August 7, 2025

This checklist covers all available “unique content” in Destiny 2.

The main thing this doesn’t cover is gear: much of the content in this list, such and Raids and Dungeons, can be run multiple times to acquire unique gear.

It also doesn’t include completionist tasks that don’t involve unique missions (or at least variants of missions). I recommend using the in-game Triumphs and Titles systems for this.

    • Collect all Void, Solar, and Arc aspects, fragments, and grenades (Glimmer)

Unique Exotic missions

  • Zero Hour (Outbreak Perfected)
  • Exotic Rotator: Presage (Dead Man’s Tale) (requires Beyond Light)
  • Exotic Rotator: Vox Obscura (Dead Messenger) (requires The Witch Queen)
  • Exotic Rotator: Operation: Seraph’s Shield (Revision Zero) (requires The Witch Queen)
  • Exotic Rotator: //NODE.OVRD.AVALON// (Vexcalibur) (requires Lightfall)
  • Pinnacle Ops: The Whisper (Whisper of the Worm)
  • Pinnacle Ops: Kell’s Fall (Slayer’s Fang)
  • Pinnacle Ops: Starcrossed (Wish-Keeper)
  • Pinnacle Ops: Encore (Choir of One)

For a complete list of Exotics, quests, and reward details, see the Exotic weapons guide and Exotic armor guide.

Note: Pinnacle Ops may require an A rank or completing on Expert difficulty or harder for the rewards. I have personally confirmed that at minimum if you are a low power level but get brought into a Master Pinnacle Op, you will get the weapon, but there’s a good chance you can get it at a lower level. They also may require owning Lightfall or The Final Shape? Need to do more Science.

(TODO: is there any reason to do the original Whisper/rotator Starcrossed?)

(TODO: catalysts?)

Miscellaneous

The Dreaming City

The Dreaming City was originally a zone unlocked in Forsaken after completing the main campaign, built to house some repeatable content and an endgame grind. Because of that, it doesn’t make a ton of sense now without building your own little questline.

Thankfully, the game has a title, Cursebreaker, which suffices quite well as a completion checklist (as well as the Triumphs tab for The Dreaming CIty if you want to be really completionist). The below tasks will get you progress on this title, and take you on a pretty complete tour of The Dreaming City.

  • The Dreaming City weekly missions
    • Broken Courier
    • The Oracle Engine
    • Dark Monastery
  • The Dreaming City weekly Blind Well champions
    • Cragur
    • Sikariis
    • Inomina
  • The Dreaming City Ascendant challenges (required for Ahamkara Bones)
    • Cimerrian Garrison
    • Ouroborea
    • Forfeit Shrine
    • Shattered Ruins
    • Keep of Honed Edges
    • Agonarch Abyss
  • Visit the Queen’s Court
  • Complete the Wish-Ender Exotic Quest
